Artway Duo Concert - 200th Anniversary of Smetana's Birth
Exchange and Concert with the Czech Republic/Slovakia Czech/Slovak Exchange Club

In 1913, under Governor Terada, Miyagi Prefecture opened the Matsushima Park Hotel, a guest house for distinguished guests. At the time, it was designed by Czech architect Jan Letzel. Later, when Governor Terada moved to Hiroshima Prefecture, he was invited to design the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall (now the Atomic Bomb Dome).
With the construction of Matsushima Rikyu in Miyagi Prefecture, a partial replica of the Matsushima Park Hotel, we would like to take this opportunity to remember Jan Letzel and also promote exchanges with the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
